Stephen E. Titus
President

Biography: Stephen Titus, founder and president of The Titus Company, was introduced to the importance of servicing clients well early on, cutting his teeth as a service technician. As a result, he has focused his entire career on providing superior customer service.
In 1979 Steve answered an ad in a Baltimore newspaper for a “customer service technician” with the C. M. Kemp Company. Kemp was and continues to be a world wide leader in the design and manufacture of compressed air dryers, inert gas generators and other specialty products.
As one of Kemp’s top technicians, Steve traveled around the world performing start-ups, troubleshooting equipment and consulting with customers on the use and maintenance of Kemp products. Ultimately Steve was promoted to Customer Service Manager before leaving in 1986 to start his own company.
The extensive technical and customer service experience that Steve gathered during his years with C. M. Kemp have served him well in developing The Titus Company into one of the top suppliers of compressed air and gas solutions in the country.

Donna Titus
Secretary/Treasurer

Biography: Being a part of The Titus Company management team (Secretary/Treasurer) means that Donna wears a number of different hats. She has worked in the company since its inception in 1986 while also raising a family. Her responsibilities include accounting, including both accounts payable & receivable, human resources, shipping & receiving and customer service.
She has played an integral role in the growth and success of The Titus Company. Donna (& Steve) have 3 children, Brian 31, Chris 28 & Kerry 25. In her spare time Donna enjoys traveling, cycling, golf and reading.

Michael H. Titus
Vice President of Sales

Biography: Michael is Vice President of Sales for The Titus Company, and, along with his brother Steve, has developed The Titus Company into one of the most respected compressed air distributors in the country. He has over 23 years of experience in the industry and has added to his knowledge through specialized training including Compressed Air and Gas Certification, Compressed Dryer Service Certification and Compressor Service Certification.
His specialties include the design and implementation of Plant Air Systems and performing energy evaluations. Michael has 2 children and enjoys his kid’s sports activities, golf and reading.

Jim Good
Sales Engineer

Biography: Jim is a Sales Engineer and has been with The Titus Company for over 3 years. Previously, Jim was the owner of Air Power, a quality distributor of Sullivan/Palatek compressors. With over 32 years of experience in the compressed air industry, Jim is one of the most knowledgeable sales professionals in the area. He has undergone extensive sales and service training in a variety of product lines including Sullivan/Palatek, Boge, Sullair, Atlas-Copco, CompAir, Leroi, Chicago Pnuematic, Champion and Crane-Deming.
He is also experienced in servicing compressed air and fluid power equipment and positive displacement liquid pumps. We are very proud to have Jim as a member of our highly skilled team. Jim has 2 grown children and enjoys golf and bowling.

Scott Layman
Senior Project Engineer

Biography: Scott is the Senior Project Engineer for The Titus Company. A Penn State and Berks ASMET graduate, he has 7 years experience in the compressed air industry. His specialties include the design of turn-key compressed air packages and supporting structures, the design and layout of plant air systems, machine design and project management. He has undergone Boge Level 1 Compressor Training and Allen Bradley PLC Training.
Scott’s knowledge, experience and dedication make him a key element in our efforts to provide successful compressed air and gas solutions for our customers. Scott is married with 2 children. He enjoys drumming, motorcycles, outdoor activities and reading.

Bob Brown
Project Engineer

Biography: Bob is a project engineer at The Titus Company. With 37 years in the compressed air industry, Bob has been an extremely valuable addition to The Titus Company. This experience includes work with products as diverse as inert gas generators, nitrogen generators, (membrane & PSA) high & low pressure dryers, catalyst-based oxygen removal and gas blending systems. He was awarded a patent on the NovaDrier Membrane Air Dryer used in the plastics industry.
He earned his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland. Bob is married with 3 children and enjoys astronomy, sailing, traveling and biking.

Brian Titus
Service Manager

Biography: Brian is the service manager at The Titus Company. He has been with The Titus Company for 8 years. His wide range of service experience includes air compressors, compressed air dryers and nitrogen generation systems. Brian has undergone Kemp P.S.C. Training on the full range of desiccant dryers and is a Boge Certified Technician.
Brian’s customer-first mindset makes him a valuable asset to our customers and The Titus Company. In his spare time he enjoys snowboarding, R/C helicopters and his 2 dogs.

Michael Sank
Senior Service Technician

Biography: Michael is a Senior Field Technician at The Titus Company. Through 29 years of experience in the compressed air industry, Michael has a variety of factory training certifications under his belt, including those from C.M. Kemp Co., Boge America, ZEKS Compressed Air Solutions and Sullivan/Palatek. He specializes in EPA Refrigerant Recovery and is our most experienced technician in the trouble-shooting and training of Kemp equipment, including air, gas & liquid dryers, inert gas generators and other specialty equipment.
Michael has been with The Titus Company from the very beginning and continues to be a valuable asset in providing high quality solutions for our customers. Michael is married with two grown children and 3 grandchildren. He enjoys playing music and spending time with his grandchildren.

Joe Tokarski Jr.
Senior Service Technician

Biography: Joe is a Senior Service Technician with The Titus Company. He has 17 years’ experience in the compressed air industry, holding a variety of training certifications including those Sullivan/Palatek, Boge, Curtis-Toledo, Refrigerant Transition & Recovery and Van Air Systems. His extensive mechanical background includes millwright work, rigging, pipe-fitting, heavy equipment operation and work as an engine mechanic.
Joe’s knowledge and work ethic have provided our customers with the high quality service that has been a hallmark of The Titus Company. Joe is married with 3 children. In his spare time Joe enjoys outdoor activities including hunting, 4-wheeling, archery, and in his more relaxed moments, cooking.

Biography: Chris is a Service Technician with The Titus Company. He has 3 years’ experience in the compressed air industry and has undergone specialized training including certifications in Boge, Sullivan/Palatek, ZEKS, Kemp, Yaskawa Drives and HVAC. He specializes in compressed air system installation and service, nitrogen generation systems and air system analysis.
Chris’ buoyant attitude, rigorous work ethic and attention to detail combine to make him a valuable and very sought-after Titus Co. resource. Chris enjoys rock climbing, kayaking, motorcycling, traveling, playing guitar, hunting and fishing.

Morris Swartwood

Biography: Morris “Mo” is a Service Technician and Evaluation Specialist with The Titus Company. He has 5 years of experience in the compressed air industry, with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Automotive diagnostics & Performance. Mo holds certifications from Sullivan-Palatek, Boge and Universal Refrigeration. He specializes in electronics, piping, mechanical, HVAC, computers & controls and heavy equipment.
Mo’s knowledge of electrical systems & controls have made him not only a top service technician for compressors, but a valuable resource as we add full air system auditing services. During his downtime, Mo enjoys audio engineering.

Dave Regan

Biography: Although Dave is the newest Service Technician to join our team, he is not new to the compressed air and gas field. Dave has been working with air compressors and accessory equipment for over 8 years and has extensive experience in a wide range of other industrial equipment including turbines and diaphragm pumps. Dave also brings valuable welding and fabrication skills to The Titus Company.

Biography: Julie is the latest addition to the fine Customer Support Group here at The Titus Company. Julie brings over 10 years of customer service experience, and her professional background includes data entry skills, shipping & receiving expertise and AP/AR responsibilities. She has quickly become an integral part in our ongoing efforts to provide the best customer service in the business.
When not at work, Julie enjoys vigorous activities including 4-Wheeling, Motocross, Horseback Riding & Mountain-Biking. During true downtime periods she enjoys watching horror movies, reading, and, of course, spending time with her family which includes her son, Branden, daughter, Brandi and their pet Boxer, Titan.

Andrea Tokarski

Biography: Andrea has been a member of The Titus Company’s administrative staff for 4 years. Her extensive responsibilities include order-entry, shipping & receiving, accounts receivable and customer service. Her background includes accounting, customer service and inside sales, part of which involved work with another Sullivan/Palatek distributor. She has an excellent understanding of the inner workings at Titus and, quite simply, gets things done.
Andrea has three children, Kody 20, Kacie 18 and Jessica 13. When she is not at work, she enjoys hiking, 4-wheeling, reading, and, of course, spending time with her terrific family.
