The ZFF and ZFC series of ZEKS in-line air filters offer innovative solutions for saving space while removing contaminants from your compressed air. These filter systems are customizable with several filter element options for compressed air filtration that meets your unique requirements.
ZFF Series Flanged Compressed Air Filters
ZEKS’s ZFF series of compressed air filters features flanged connections and durable construction to ensure longevity in challenging industrial applications. Their stainless steel support cores maintain reliability, minimize corrosion and withstand high differential pressure.
ZFF filters work to remove harmful contaminants from compressed air in large-scale systems to protect equipment, processes and products that could be negatively impacted by impurities. They offer high-volume filtration with flow capabilities from 1,800 to 13,200 SCFM.
The deep-pleated filter media optimizes filtration while slowing the airflow velocity to minimize pressure drops, lowering energy consumption and operational costs.
With nine models and a design that permits multiple elements, ZFF filters provide unbeatable flexibility for your business. You can easily place and swap filter elements with ZEKS’s innovative top-loading design without removing the bottom of the housing. Filter elements are available in five grades for different compressed air filtration applications.
ZFF grade P filter elements are designed for particulate and bulk liquid filtration. These filters should be used in environments with high concentrations of airborne dirt in the ambient air. This dirt gets sucked into the compressor with the air and needs to be filtered out before use.
Grade P filter elements remove small particles of contaminants like dirt and dust as small as 5 microns and allow liquids to coalesce with no more than 5 PPM oil carryover.
Grade G general-purpose filter elements are ideal for removing dirt, oil and dust through coalescing and particulate filtration. They filter out anything 1 micron or larger with a 0.1 PPM oil carryover.
These filters are highly recommended for use as after-filters in systems with heatless desiccant air dryers to remove desiccant dust and other particulates.
High-efficiency grade H filter elements allow users to filter out very small particles — as small as 0.01 microns — and perform fine coalescing to achieve less than 0.01 PPM oil carryover.
These filters are ideal for applications that require exceptionally clean compressed air, free from almost all dirt, dust and other particles.
Grade A filter elements feature activated carbon for oil vapor filtration. These filters remove oil vapors and water vapors from your compressed air and neutralize odors from hydrocarbons in your system.
Grade A filters should be used in conjunction with an upstream 0.01-micron filter, like a grade H filter element, to prevent clogging and ensure a long life span.
These filter elements need to be replaced every 6 months or 4,000 hours — whichever comes first — to maintain peak performance.
ZEKS HI-TEMP filter elements are designed to withstand exposure to elevated temperatures exceeding 250° F. These general-purpose filters remove particulates as small as 1 micron and coalesce to reduce oil and water to 0.1 PPM carryover.
Because they are able to endure high temperatures, HI-TEMP filter elements are ideal for use downstream from heated desiccant air dryers.

ZFC Series Threaded Filters
ZFC series filters are built for robust durability and easy usability. Their die-cast aluminum filter housing is suitable for use in applications with temperatures up to 176° F and 250 PSIG maximum allowed working pressure.
Both the internal and external surfaces have a proprietary coating that protects them against corrosion and exposure to harsh environments, ensuring long-lasting reliability no matter your application.
Swapping out filter elements is easy with ZFC threaded filters. The no-touch replacement element allows users to remove the filter bowl and dispose of spent elements without handling them. The bowl properly aligns new elements with the filter head to provide correct placement.
When you reinstall the bowl, visual alignment marks allow you to easily check for a tight seal to prevent leaks and maximize safety.
ZFC series air filters are available in 16 models with flow capabilities of 22 to 1,600 SCFM. Four grades of filter elements are available, allowing you to customize your compressed air filtration system based on your needs.
Grade P filter elements offer particulate and bulk liquid filtration to remove dust and dirt particles down to 1 micron. They also coalesce liquid contaminants like oil and water vapors.
ZFC series grade P filter elements are ideal for situations where the ambient air has a significant amount of suspended dirt that can get sucked into your compressed air system.
Grade G filter elements are general-purpose for the removal of dust particles as small as 0.1 microns. These filters also coalesce liquids to remove oil and water vapors for a maximum remaining aerosol content of 0.03 PPM at 70° F.
ZFC grade H filter elements offer high-efficiency filtration to remove the smallest particular contaminants down to 0.1 microns. Coalescing allows grade H filters to remove almost all water and oil vapor, leaving a maximum remaining aerosol content of 0.008 PPM at 70° F.
Grade A filter elements feature activated carbon for advanced removal of oil vapor and hydrocarbon odors. These filters produce air with a maximum remaining oil content of just 0.003 PPM at 70° F.
ZFC series grade A elements need to be replaced every 3 months or 2,000 hours for optimal performance. They should be used in conjunction with an upstream grade H filter that removes most dirt particles to prevent clogging.
Time strips are available to adhere to your filter housing for a visual indication of your grade A filter element’s remaining service life.
ZEKS ZFF and ZFC in-line compressed air filters offer the flexibility to customize your filtration system to meet your exact requirements for clean compressed air. Applications with less stringent requirements may choose a ZFF filter with grade P elements, while a more sensitive application may select a ZFC filter housing with grade A elements.
