Titus TN2 and TNX Membrane Nitrogen Generator
The TN2 Series of Nitrogen Generators from Titus Nitrogen provides you with the lowest cost of ownership through engineered solutions that precisely match your nitrogen needs. We analyze your specific situation and provide a solution based on your flow, purity and budget parameters.
Based on your nitrogen generation needs and internal capabilities, we can provide solutions ranging from field-assembled, component-only packages to fully-assembled, custom-engineered units and complete, compressor-nitrogen generator systems. This gives our customers total flexibility in meeting their nitrogen generation needs.
On-Site T2 Nitrogen Generators
The Titus TN2 Series of Nitrogen Generators includes several models.
TN2 Basic Series
For those with the appropriate internal mechanical capabilities, we offer the option of a package made up of a dual filter system and membrane module shipped separately for field installation. Simply connect them and incorporate them into your system as desired.
TN2 Basic provides you with the most cost-effective method of generating nitrogen. TN2 Basic is also available as a complete, pre-assembled system on a wall-mount bracket or within a fully enclosed cabinet.
TN2 Essentials Series
The TN2 Essentials package includes membrane module(s) with filters, and a purity control system shipped separately for increased economy. All components can be configured by the user to match site requirements. The Essentials Series is ideal for installations where access is restricted, space is limited or for applications where a hazardous or explosive environment may exist.
The purity control system included with the TN2 Essentials model ensures delivery of proper purity at all times and eliminates the possibility of an overflow condition.
The Essentials package can be customized by ordering the components preassembled on a wall-mount bracket, within a rugged sheet-metal cabinet or installed on a readily portable heavy-duty cart.
TN2 Total Series
The most common nitrogen production solution includes filtration, temperature, pressure and purity control packages along with membrane module(s) in a space-saving wall or floor-mounted enclosure, allowing convenient access to serviceable components. Compressed air hook-up, electric service, vent gas and nitrogen gas outlet are connection points provided. Field expandable units are available for most models.
Fluid Aire Dynamics has a variety of available options including:
- Premium Electrical Package (PEP): Includes a PLC-Driven control system equipped with oxygen, pressure and temperature monitoring. The PEP also includes an Auto-Delivery system which automatically provides nitrogen to downstream processes when desired purity is reached.
- Auto Bypass: Ties into the PEP and allows for an automatic switchover to a backup source of nitrogen, based on high oxygen or low-pressure alarms.
- Nitrogen Flow Meter: Included as a stand-alone feature or tied into PEP for remote monitoring and alarm should an out-of-tolerance condition occur.
- Hydrocarbon Removal System: Removes oil vapor to provide odor and taste-free supply for lab, medical and food processing & packaging requirements.
- Dry Nitrogen Storage Tanks: To meet short-term, high-demand events.
TN2 GenPak Series
For applications where a reliable source of compressed air is not available, Titus’ GenPak is the ideal solution. The package includes a high-quality air compressor, wet air receiver and nitrogen generator that provides a precisely matched supply of high-quality nitrogen to downstream processes.
The TN2 GenPak can be provided in one of three main configurations:
- Separate elements for field assembly and installation
- Skid-mounted in a pre-wired, pre-assembled turn-key configuration
- Constructed in a heated, ventilated and weather-proof unit for outdoor locations
All TN2 Total options are available for the TN2 GenPak as well.

Versatile and On-Demand Nitrogen Production
Titus Nitrogen designed the TN2 Series to meet a broad range of industry needs. The TN2 Series revolutionizes on-site nitrogen production by breaking the mold on one-size-fits-all solutions. Recognizing that the need for nitrogen production encompasses a wide variety of applications in dozens of industries, TN2 is engineered for flow rates from 0.5 to 5000 SCFH and is designed for easy operation and low maintenance. TN2 is especially suited for harsh environments like wash-down areas, explosive and hazmat situations and severe weather conditions.
Talk to us about your specific needs. We have solutions available to meet your nitrogen requirements in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
TNX Expandable Series
The new TNX Series of on-site nitrogen generators from Titus Nitrogen offers a revolutionary solution to the problem of meeting future nitrogen capacity needs without having to make excessively large up-front capital equipment expenditures.
Typically, businesses are squeezed between today’s budgetary concerns and future growth needs. A system purchased to meet today’s requirements may have to be scrapped for a larger system next year. An oversized system to meet next year’s production requirements not only adversely impacts the current budget, but also results in excessive operation and maintenance costs in the interim. In either scenario, significant time and money may be wasted.
The TNX Series, on the other hand, gives businesses the flexibility to buy the capacity they need today and easily increase that capacity (up to a factor of 4 from base models) as their nitrogen needs grow. The TNX Series provides companies with the ability to make high-quality nitrogen from virtually any compressed air source, making it the economical choice compared to transporting, storing and handling nitrogen cylinders and dewars.
When companies purchase the TNX Series sized for current needs, they can benefit from the lowest cost of ownership now, and only make the additional investment in capacity when it is needed in the future. That’s smart engineering. That’s TNX.
TNX Options Address Your Needs
The Titus Nitrogen TNX Series is prepared to identify and address your company or industry’s unique needs. For budget-conscious operations, TNX comes standard with a cost-effective yet informative monitoring package that provides the key control and operating parameters to ensure optimum performance.
Are you concerned about operating in hazardous or remote areas? In environments where electricity is unavailable or where a spark hazard may exist, TNX is available in an intrinsically safe, non-electric design.
No compressed air? For many applications, a source of compressed air may not be available. TNX can be provided with either an onboard compressor for small applications, or with a larger scale, complete turn-key package for large nitrogen consumers.
The TNX Series Combines Innovation and Practicality
At the heart of TNX is the proven and reliable PRISM® Membrane technology from Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. Proudly made in America, the TNX Series has been designed with features that provide the perfect combination of innovation and practicality. In addition, TNX offers a range of optional equipment to better match customer requirements, including:
- Premium Electrical Package (PEP): This robust package provides the optimum level of control, monitoring and alarm capability to protect downstream processes from off-spec nitrogen.
- Auto Bypass System: This system is available on any unit equipped with PEP. It allows for the automatic or manual switchover to a backup source of nitrogen (customer supplied). If an off-spec condition, compressed air system failure, or routine maintenance requirement should occur, downstream processes can be kept on-line at all times through the auxiliary nitrogen source.
- Digital Nitrogen Flow Monitor: Available on any system, provides a continuous digital readout of the nitrogen flow and an output signal for remote monitoring. When integrated with the PEP, local and remote alarm capability is also included.
- Nitrogen Storage Tank: For applications when intermittent demand events may occur, a nitrogen storage tank can provide a cost-effective means of protecting the nitrogen generator from an over-flow condition and downstream processes from off-spec nitrogen. This is sized by application, as customer needs may vary widely.
- Hydrocarbon Removal Packages: For applications where even small concentrations of hydrocarbon vapor may be damaging to downstream equipment or processes, these packages provide optimal protection. As with nitrogen storage, the requirement for hydrocarbon removal may vary widely so these packages are available in a range of sizes and configurations to precisely meet customer needs.
